Does lifting weights help you lose fat??

if so what kind of weight lifting plan should i do?

lifting weight doesnt directly cause you to lose fat. what happens, is that your metabilism increases when you have more muscle because your body has more muscle to feed. for every pound of muscle your body will burn abot 50 calories each day by you not doing anything.
also, your body keeps burning more calories than usual for up to twelve hours after weight lifting. whereas after a cardio workout, your body's calorie-burning goes back to normal right away.

i does not matter what type of weightlifting you do. if you want to become tone, do high reps with low weight. if you wanna get bulky, its vise versa.
