Loosing muscles? Help!!?
I have been doing intensive weight training and cardio for the last 3 weeks. I have lost about 5pounds on the balance and my clothes, my rings have become very loose. However my fat precentage hasnt lowered, not even a bit. And somebody tells me that I have been loosing muscles instead of fat. Is that possible? Can one loose muscles?
Answers:
Overtraining and not enough protein. I lifted 6 days a week and cut back to 3 days a week hitting all my bodyparts once a week and my muscles grew. I also increased my protein intake and did cardio 3 times a day for 30-40 minutes. I have had very good results with this with minimal loss in muscle mass.
