Yes, you do need to see a doctor, and yes it's that bad!. Looking and counting at calories are small signs of something big and dangerous!. Obssesive exercising and seeing a distorted image of your body are major signs of Anorexia!. You need to get help (even if you think it's not that bad now) it will turn into something worse if you keep going this way!. You can't let yourself take it too far!. Remember that Anorexia is actually a real disorder and it can ruin your body and you can die!. It's not something you can't take seriously or let it slide!. A 12 year old girl can't be counting calories and trying to loose weight!. At this age, most girls go through changes (their bodies are getting ready for puberty, and they can experiences weight changes)!. So you can be thinking you're fat for your age, when really your body is trying to form itself!. Know how most kids have that "chubby stage"!? This is mostly the same thing!. Please seek help now! Before it's too late!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think it's anorexia, since you do eat, but it's not healthy!. Your body goes into "starvation mode" if you eat too little calories each day, and then it holds on to whatever you eat, instead of burning off the calories like normal!. What you're doing is not good!. I suggest seeing a doctor and a nutritionist!. There are many healthy ways to lose the weight, and you'd probably feel better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you really want to loose weight try exercising for about 30min- 1 hour maybe 5 times a week!. also eat 4 small meals a day!. for example for five days do 30 minutes weight training and 30 minutes cardio!. also maybe have one whole egg for breakfast, 1 small salad with a limitied amount of dressing for lunch, 1 serving of vegetables for midlunch-dinner, ad dinner dinner try one cup of beans!. this will work fast and make your metabolism moving faster than ever !. Some of the answerers are idiots!.

Anorexia can also be restriction by any compulsion!. Otherwise how do you explain bulimarexics!?

You are on a dangerous path!. obsession can lead you to death!. Tell your mom you are having these anxiety attacks that make you feel the need to exercise to exhaustion!.

Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It seems like you might me getting into an ED!. Please I'd really advice to go see your doctor, before it's too late!. You have just started into this whole ED state, and your only 12!. Anorexia is not a choice, it can really mess up people's lives!. So get some help as soon as possible, better yet go talk to a nutritionist and get your daily intake correct, because you're still in a growing stage!. I hope you'll realize in time what you're putting yourself into!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think you have anorexia!. But you might soon! Learn to diet right!. Anorexia is where you DON'T eat!. Or, eat really really little!. Like green tea for breakfast, and little bit of crust of bread for lunch!. Anorexia is literally when you starve yourself!. It's horrible! But you should see a doctor so he will tell you how to diet right, and make you feel better about yourself!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes it is bad that youre only 12 and you worry too much about your weight!. You should eat healthy food because your body is still growing and need all the nutrients you can get from eating healthy food!. Just keep exercising everyday and be more active to lose some weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the defining characteristic of an anorexic is the refusal to eat!. you are not doing that!. you do however have a problem and should talk to your parents and a therapist about it!. 700 cals is not enough for anyone - let alone a growing body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah pretty much ): go to a doctor and get some help 138 pounds IS NOT ALOT ! thats skinny specially for your height dont worry about it go to a doc and see what he says You have to feel confident in yourself! Just stay healthy cause girl YOU are soooooo not over weight !Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes that is bad and harmful to your health and total well being in the future (5 years)!. you should seek help now so you can control this in the future, because if you don't you will weigh more as you get older and this habit might become really bad!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you are not fat, you are at a healthy weight!. Stop worrying about it! You are only 12 years old you need to focus on other things!. If you continue to obsess go to a doctor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes why are you asking this question go see a doc Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, I think you are suffering from anorexia!. I think you have to feel happy with your body and treat it better instead of punishing it for psychological reasons that are wrong!. You should be eating at least 1500 calories/day for your height/weight, even more I'd say!. I was doing the same thing at your age and it stunted my growth - you only have a year or two left to grow taller and if you starve yourself you will miss that small window you have left and then you will have to weigh even less the rest of your life!. Think about that!. Your condition will only get worse so it's a good thing you have recognized it at this early stage!. You don't want to be on 100 calories and burning 2000/day with more exercise and less food which is where you're headed!. Your hair and teeth will start falling out and you'll get a heart attack and look bad with permanent damage to your organs!. So go have a sandwich and treat yourself better without looking at the label!. I'm in my 30s and I try to avoid looking at the calorie content of anything I eat or else I'll obsess over it, so learn what will make you not obsess!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would be very careful with exercise!.
I suffered from anorexia for 11 years, but now I have slipped into "exercise bulimia", i!.e!. I exercise excessively every day in order to burn off the calories and gain muscle!. I eat enough calories per day to maintain my weight, but my exercise routine has become an obsession which I can't give up anymore!. I would not recommend that you do this!.
If it is only moderate exercise each day to become or stay healthy, then that is brilliant!. But please don't force yourself to do it every day or start counting the calories you burn off!. I am very grateful that I am a healthy weight again and did not die from anorexia (I was hospitalized twice and in intensive care), but I really wish I could reduce my strict exercising because it controlles my life and makes me completely unflexible!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

lets normalise for a second!. yes, u realise that there is an issue here!. but it is a very common situation and not at all a hopeless one!. ur local GP is not going to be much use in my oppinion!.

the most important thing is to uncover why you feel so bad about yourself (not just ur body - anorexia reflects insecurities of the inner self most importantly)!. look at ur home life!. are u struggling to gain control in areas of ur life!?

you should see a psychologyst - who will solve the root cause of hte problem, not only the outwardly obvious symptoms

Yes, I'm afraid you are!. And don't ask whether or not it's bad enough to see a doctor!.
Losing weight is disturbing your life and occupying your thoughts right now!. It's very very very very wrong!.

Just to warn you/convince to see a doctor:
I've been suffering from anorexia for more than a year, trying to recover right now, but while recovering from the eating disorder, my body dysmorphic disorder has gone only worse, and seriously, this life is miserable!. There are times when I don't go outside for weeks, just because I gained a pound and I'm simply paranoid, that everyone notices it!. This is simply messed up! And I can't help it!. I'm only 15 and I shouldl be enjoying my life instead of obsessing, crying and injuring myself every time I gain or eat more that I plan!. This is a nightmare, and it WILL happen to you if you don't take care of yourself!.
See a doctor for sure!. You can get better!.

And remember, you don't need to starve yourself and exercise excessively in order to lose weight!. Just eat healthy: vegetables, lean meat, wholegrains, dairy etc etc and you will be slim and happy!.

Good luck and take care!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are not anorexic, because you don't meet all of the characteristics of a person suffering from anorexia nervosa!.

To be diagnosed as having anorexia nervosa, according to the DSM-IV-TR, a person must display:

1!. Body weight less than 85% normal weight or a BMI of 17!.5 or less!.

2!. Intense fear of gaining weight or becoming obese!.

3!. Disturbance in the way in which one's body weight or shape is experienced, or denial of the seriousness of the current low body weight!.

4!. The absence of at least three consecutive menstrual cycles (amenorrhea)

You seem to be suffering from EDNOS, which is "eating disorder not otherwise specified" which is when someone meets some of the characteristics of an anorexic or bulimic, but not all of them, for example still has menstrual cycles, or is not underweight!. It is a serious disorder!. Please go to the doctor to get help!.
