What is the max amount of excess salt, water retention a person can retain?!

Question:

What is the max amount of excess salt, water retention a person can retain?

Is it greater than 10 lbs?

Or less?

Answers:

The answer to this question would be based on a percentage of the persons normal weight.... and yes someone could retain more than 10 pounds of excess fluid in certain situations... about 60% of your body weight is water anyways...

I fluctuate about 2-5 lbs over night... so last night I was 179 before I went to bed and 175 when I got up and after I urninated.

When I weighted 250 or there abouts I would fluctuate 4-6 over night...
