My boyfriend's eating habits. What's the damage?!

Question:

My boyfriend's eating habits. What's the damage?

I've been with my boyfriend a couple of years now, and I'm just so concerned with his eating habits.

He doesn't eat any fruit or any vegetables or anything remotely healthy.

On a normal day he'll eat around 5 ham sandwhiches/rolls and about 5-8 packets of crisps with some sweets or chocolate probably thrown in. The ham sandwhiches have to be white bread, flora and only marks and spencers extra thin wafer ham. He'll occasionally eat curry (only chicken tikka masala), super noodles (once a month), hamburger (mcdonalds only), and fries.

I have got him to try minestronie soup, potato wedges and pasta. But that feels like nothing over 2 years.

The worst thing is, I'm sure it's doing some sort of damage, he has dark rings round his eyes all the time. He doesn't believe me that it will be doing anything bad, it also stops us from going out.

I get so upset over it... Does anyone know what it could be doing to him?

I'd like to either reassure myself or let him know the truth.

He's really quite thin.
He doesn't really have any trouble sleeping.

Answers:

He'll develop diabetes or heart disease and die of complications by the age of 65. That's not considering what toll the lack of vitamins and fiber is taking on his internal organs, brain, and colon. Colon cancer isn't pretty. Kidney failure is a real pain. And a heart attack thanks to cholesterol-clogged arteries ruins the evening. Alzheimers makes the Golden Years a real strain.
I think you'd be wise to find a man who values his health-- you're not compatible with this one. I personally couldn't respect someone with so little regard for his health and body.
