Question:

I am going to try eating healthy. what kind of foods should i eat?

Well June is almost over and July is coming up then August and then school starts so i would would really like to start eating healthy.

if you can, can you please answer the following questions :]
-what kind of foods should i eat?
-how many calories should i eat about each day?
-about how many hours should i exersize and how many days each week?
-would not eating red meat also help me get more healthier or just make me sick?

one time i saw "true life" on mtv and it was about how these people were on a diet and they were only eating cottage cheese so does this mean that cottage cheese is low in fat if not then what is it?

and weigh around 120 pounds
im trying to lose weight but getting used to eat healthy food


Answers:

Go for low fat cuts of meat. I don't think you need to cut out red meat completely, just choose low fat cuts. Eat vegetables and fruit. Stay away from white carbs. Eat whole grain carbs in moderation. Stay away from sugar. Watch your fat intake. Trans fats are bad. Read labels and you'll find out how many calories and how much fat are in something. Try to stay away from processed foods too. Try to exercise at least 20 - 30 minutes a day. How many calories you should eat will depend on how much you want to weigh. Are you trying to lose weight or just eat healthy? Cottage cheese has always been something people on diets have eaten. I don't know how good it is for weight loss though. Just go for fresh foods, low fat cuts of meat and lots of water.
