Vegan Daily Diet Question...?!

Question: Vegan Daily Diet Question!.!.!.!?
I'm recently a vegan, about 3 weeks now!. I got a nice daily routine down but i'm wondering if it is right!.

I wake up and have a bowl of oatmeal or a whole gain bagel with vegan cream cheese!. (around 9am)

around noon to 1pm, i have 2 peices of fruit, or a handful of berries!. After eating those i take one of my multivitamins (it is a 2 a day vitamin)!.

At around 5-6'ish i have dinner, which is normally a big vegan meal like lasagna or spegetti with mushrooms!. I have my second multivitamin then!.

for a late night snack, i have 1 piece of fruit, or a JB and J sandwich on whole grain bread!.

I drink water all day, and have 1 glass of instant juice (its basically sugar water, i'm using it replace my soda)!. If my dinner is going to be light on veggies (like it isn't going to be a stir-fry), i drink 1 can of V8 juice!.

I've been feeling really good, but i'm wondering if i'm getting enough out of it or if there is something i should be aware of!.

So i'm wondering to you vegans out there, does that sound like a solid daily plan!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I don't know your weight, age or activity level but generally speaking, make sure you have a big variety in your diet!. Vegan diets can be low on iron & B 12 but the vitamins should help with that!. Leafy greens, brocoli, legumes, and nuts will help you get some of the iron and calcium you need!. Be sure you get about 0!.6-1!.0 grams of protein for every kg of body weight!. You will get some protein from your whole grains, but it isn't a bad idea to add soy products, legumes (beans) and nuts for some extra protein!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm not seeing much protein there!. Are you getting it from supplements or is it in the vegan cream cheese!?

Make sure you're getting your legumes, if they aren't in the lasagna!. Otherwise, it looks pretty good to me!.

Sorry, I just saw the JB & J sandwich!.!. is that PB!? How much are you using!? PB is a good source of protein!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

as a member of a vegetarian group, of which we tout vegan ism, it sounds like you need more whole greens, like kale or swiss chard!. and it isn't neccessary to drink V8 juice if you are getting all your essentials in!. remember, a good vegan diet is whole foods, not processed foods!. they can be cooked or raw!. another good way to eat vegan is to eat a "rainbow" of foods!. that means lots of color on you plates!. it's good you have fruit, but don't forget the greens!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
