First, walk for 5 minutes at an easy pace to warm up!. About 4!.0 on a treadmill!. Then speed up to 5!.0 for 10 minutes, which will lengthen your stride!. get up and move! go shoot some hoops or walk around the block with a friend!. join a sports team!. just get ur metabolism going and move around!. if u have to sit for long periods of time, fidget!. tap ur toe or drum ur fingers!. it actually does burn calories!. and if u r just at ur house with nothing to do just kinda wander a round!. lol thats what i do all teh time when i dont have volleyball practice or gymnastics or bball and stuff!. i cant stand to sit still!.hope this helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com
