Weight Issues, in a bad rut.?!

Question:

Weight Issues, in a bad rut.?

Hey, Im 24 , I have always had a weight problem through life and used food as a depressent. While growing up, my parents would feed me junk so they could get drunk, now I use food as medication when im down. I hate it, and early this year i joined the gym curves, started eating healthy, and lost 40 lbs. Well these past few days i have been getting off track, havent worked out for a week now, and have been making awful food choices (think mcdonalds). I HATE how i get off track, its so easy and im sick of it, i want to battle my food problem and be skinny for once. But how do i get out of these ruts, i just dont feel like doing it anymore, it seems like it will never happen and i will be a gross pig forever. Even though people tell me it looks like im still losing i feel like a balloon and it makes me eat more. ...its like awful drug..how can i turn things around again and get back to my healthy lifestyle, and get out of this horrbile food addiction....

Answers:

You have done it once, you can do it again. Remember that powerful feeling you had when you were in control? You can be again, just need a little determination.
We all get stuck, but only smart ones get up and do it again. I went through terrible times of stress last year, and came to a point where i ate a whole pizza by myself. Then i realized, it's either the situation taking over me, or me taking matters inot my own hands.
The moment you decide to get back on track, the moment you decide to do something about it, you will get that "i can do anything" feeling again, so stop worrying and get back on track, you know you can!
