Is tea good for you if it has no sugar.?!
Question:
Is tea good for you if it has no sugar.?
I can't seem to get my 8 glasses of water a day down. Can I substitute a few for tea with no sugar. (the kind in the pouches that you make on the stove)
Answers:
Well besides water - which you should drink at least 8 glasses a day. There are many teas that are good for ya:
*Green tea is awesome for you some benefits:lower cholesterol, reduce risk of cancer, and many more.
*Echinacea is good for when you're sick - helps boosts immune system
*Chamomile is great for bedtime to help relax promotes calm and releaves anxiety.
*Earl Grey (one of my favs) - which i actually like by itself w/ no sugar anyway - is a black tea with citrus flavors. Has been used as an anti-depressant for it's calming effect.
*Peppermint tea (also my fav) - good for stomachaches and other ailments.
There are many more you can try, which some are better (to me) w/o sugar than others. If you want to be healthier, maybe some fresh lemon slices, or a tsp of honey is good. Either way, you should still try to drink you're water, as water is pure, no calories and is good for you b/c every cell in your body needs water to function properly. And anyway i tend to drink tea before i go to bed anyway b/c the warmth and the tea itself helps me sleep better (unless it says on box it contains caffine). Keep a waterbottle handy with you, in your purse and just sip throughout the day. If you can get through a couple of those that's great.
