Is it a good thing if your muscles shake after exercise?!

Question:

Is it a good thing if your muscles shake after exercise?

I've just done some sit-ups, crunches, leg lifts, push-ups, etc. and then I did some stuff on the computer. Now when I stand up again, my legs start shaking a bit and generally feel weaker than normal. Is this a sign that I've done enough exercise? Is this good? I am attempting to loose weight by doing exercises, so does this mean that I've done enough exercise? Thanks in advance!

Answers:

it could be one of many things. usually though, if your body is shaking, it's trying to tell you something.

have you been starving yourself? if you haven't eaten lately, your body will tend to be shaky and weak, especially if you're exercising. try eating a banana. it has potassium that should help you keep from shaking. it will also help prevent your muscles from cramping after the workout.

or you could be thirsty. make sure you drink lots of water, before, during and after the workout.

otherwise it could just be that your body isn't used to that much exercise, which in this case it isn't really a BAD thing. just kind of annoying.
