Does anyone know some healthy foods?!

Question: Does anyone know some healthy foods!?
I want to really eat healthy foods this year at school and home!. I'd like to know some organic foods or health foods that I could take with my in my lunch!. It'd really be helpful if some of the foods didn't have to be kept cold!.

Thanks a bunch!

Answers:
There are tons and many of them are rather intuitive, like avoiding candies and chips and chocolate bars and choosing fruits and veggie dips instead!.

Some extra special foods include:
-mangosteen and pomegranate (lots of antioxidants)
-UNprocessed cheese, plain yogurt with honey and lemon juice !.!.!. maybe you can bring an ice pack with these but that's just your choice
-whole wheat bread / brown rice !.!.!. try to avoid foods containing white flour and refined sugars, or eat them sparingly(eg!. pastries and such)
-brown eggs, not white
-raw fruits/veggies/protein as in salads (free range chicken, carrots, tomatoes, and mushrooms are really healthy :P)
-avoid leftovers and MSG
-bittermelon (which tastes awful but's awfully healthy, lol) maybe you can put slivers of it in your salad
-nuts & various seeds (ex!. flaxseeds w/ omega 3!) in salads
-freshly squeezed homemade juice, not store bought, even if they say it's sugarless, it's not half as fresh!
-lots of water

Most of all, eat some of EVERYTHING you can think of so long as it's not junkie food because that's the healthiest diet possible!Www@Answer-Health@Com

High fiber - helps keep you full - Arnold's Double Fiber Whole Wheat Bread or Thomas' English Muffins, Multi-grain

Protein - takes longer to digest, keeps you full, too - meats and cheeses and yogurt

Lower Carb/Lower Sugar foods - when you eat too much sugar or carb rich food, you get hungry sooner and then you tend to binge eat or grab whatever's around - handful of nuts, whole grain crackers, blue chips

And drink a ton of water!

Tip: You can get an insulated lunch box and put an ice pack in it that you can freeze each night!.

Tip #2: I've never done the South Beach Diet, but I know it has a lot of good health tips and recipes for snacks and lunches!. Maybe look through a copy of that book!?

GOOD LUCK!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The key is knowing how to read labels!. Anything that has sugar, high fructose corn syrup, enriched flour and so many other things in the first five ingredients!.!.!.stay away!. This sounds obvious however something like a Nutri Grain bar SOUNDS good however its just as a bad as a candy bar!. Same thing with 99% of "Granola" bars!. Even the Natures Valley ones are packed with sugar!. THe ONLY ones that are legit are the Kashi brand!.

Really it can be overwhelming just research on label reading because its sad how tricky it can be to find the real healthy ANYTHING!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

The foods that don`t have cholesterol, are high in soluble fibers, and also contain antioxidants should be consumed in any diet and include:
Vegetables
Fruits
Legumes
Grains
Psyllium seeds
