Why do I feel hungry every two hours?!

Question:

Why do I feel hungry every two hours?

I'm almost 16, 5'8" and near 140 pounds (and female, apparently.) Over the last 4 days I've been feeling hungry all the time, or almost exactly two hours after I've eaten. The only changes I've made recently were cutting back on soda, drinking more water and eliminating the occasional junk food from my diet. I doubt it's because I'm growing or anything like that since everyone in my family is around my height, and I know I'm not just wanting to eat because I'm bored.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do or what could be causing this?

Answers:

usually that happens when your meal contains too much carbohydrates : white bread, sugar,sweets,pasta,potatoes... which very soon increase the level of your blood sugar and after that , very very soon , happens exactly the opposite, your blood sugar falls at the lowest level.that's why you are hungry.
so, the solution is , at the time you are hungry, eat less sugar,bread....
and replace it with vegetables

that's what my doctor said.
i have the same problem...
difficult to manage... but necessary.
good luck!
