Answers:
it is only better in the way that a salad would most likely provide you with more nutrients like vitamins and as for losing weight just try to eat but then exercise and burn off the calories because if you don't you will gain weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It would depend what your salad and pizza are made of!. If you have a salad that's 500 calories but is packed with nutrients and is filling and has healthy fats (say, a big salad with avocado, veggies, beans and an olive-oil-based dressing), that is probably more healthy than a really greasy slice of pizza!. But a pizza with lower-fat cheese and veggies on a whole-wheat crust would be healthier than an iceberg-lettuce salad with thousand island dressing in a taco shell!.

I don't think the source of your calories really affects whether you lose weight, however!. Except that something healthier is often less likely to cause your blood sugar to crash later, leading to binge eating that will sabotage your efforts!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

any salad with that many calories is way to much!. I'd suggest not stacking up on the meat and add more greens, like cucumbers !? Just add little meat and don't overdo it with the dressings because that completely kills the point of eating the salad!. But yes I would say a salad with 500 calories is more healthy than a pizza!. But let me tell you something, that bull crap about eating salads making you lose weight is a bunch of horse chit!. The secret to losing weight is eating less and exercising more!. Jerry from that Subway commerical is full of crap because you don't lose weight from just eating there, he lose weight because he had to exercise which they didn't happen to mention!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi There,

If you want to lose weight then you need to forget about all the diet books and exercise videos and just get on with eating fewer calories and burning more calories!. Simple as that!.

The real trick comes with the mental side of weight loss which is where I've found most of my clients suffer!. With hypnosis or hypnosis programs the mental side is covered because the hypnotic messages work with the subconscious mind!. If you can master the mental side of weight loss, not only can you lose weight, but you can keep it off; which is the real problem most people face!.

Make sure you have set yourself realistic weight loss goals!.

Make sure you have appropriate motivation - a reward / punishment method works for some people!.

Make sure you have the support of people around you - friends / family!.

Make sure you keep your focus on your goal!.

And get rid of your bathroom scales!!!

Weight loss typically occurs with inches being lost before the weight goes!. I've had clients who have lost no weight for a month, yet they have dropped 2 dress sizes in that month!. As well as monitoring your weight weekly, take your measurements weekly too and notice the difference!

Hope that helps, but please let me know if there's anything else I can do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are looking to lose weight then it's the same!. Calories in vs calories out!. But if you are looking to be healthier then the salad is the one you should choose, because it will have more nutrients!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

that all depends on the ingredients of both!
See the salad on one hand can be laden with fats and unhealthy sodium and sugar!. These are all hidden in your favorite dressings or toppings!. Some people think by getting a Zaxby's salad, they are doing better, by not having the Zaxby's sandwhich!. When in fact the sandwich even with the bun has almost half hte calories than one of those salads! Dressings, dressings, dressings! If you want a healthy salad with flvor and not sacrificing the flavors, use a non fat or low fat version of your favorite, you fat free or low fat cheeses, use the white instead of the yolk if you add boilded egg to yours, top with healthy fats like, pine nuts, almonds, or seeds!. If you like a little meat, use some marinated chicken breast!. A healthy salada with all the fixings can ring in at under 300 calories, and believe me, you'll be a stuff pigeon!
ON the other hand, with the pizza, if you are dining at such establishments such as pizza hut and even papa johns, you need to expect that each slice of a plain cheese pizza is about 300-350 calories!!! Add some meaty toppings and you gotta a fatty, greasy slice of heaven, that you could have done without, or sacrificed a good days workout for!.
Alternative to enjoying your craving for pizza include, making it at home or buying one of those healthy frozen ones!.!.!.!.NO, not the healthy choice or stouffers french bread pizzas, but the organic ones, like Amy's or Kashi, I also like the South beach Diet ones, because they have 35 grams of protein and 10 g of fiber! and only ring in at 350 calories! On days I have time!.!.!.I make my own pizza!.!.!.!.for the crust (I have a stand mixer, makes baking easier!), I used whole grain all wheat flour, (you can find it at your grocery store) add some yeast and mix, knead, and sit, then toss with italian seasonings, and spray with Pam butter flavored cooking spray, then stretch and toss to desired thickness of crust, shap up the ends, and top with crushed tomatoes, low fat italian blend cheese (Kraft makes it), and turkey pepperoni!. My 12" pizza, I normally can make two with the recipe, comes in a an astonishing 125 calories per slice!!!! oh, and there are 6 slices per pizza! ENJOY THAT!

ON to the answer to the first question, it really depends on your calorie deficit when it comes to losing weight!. If you want to have a cheat day, and go over your daily requirement, just make up for it the next day!. Do an extra hard workout, or cut back on your calories, while still getting in your absolute minimum to maintain healthy weight!. As long as you burn more than you eat, you can eat whatever you want! It's when you go over your comsumptions needs and don't burn more than you consume leads you to gaining, or plain ol maintaining!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
