Will fruit sugar (fructose) keep you awake at night?!
Question:
Will fruit sugar (fructose) keep you awake at night?
If you eat a piece of fruit before bed, how does that compare with eating a lolly or two?
Answers:
Fructose is a slower acting sugar than glucose (from the lolly) and shouldn't affect your sleep as much. Calcium is actually a sleep aid, so if you have trouble sleeping and need a snack before bed, try yogurt or a glass of milk instead.
