Here's what I eat!.

Breakfast: Side Salad and diet coke

Lunch: Ckicken Salad and diet coke

Dinner: Side Salad and diet coke

Drink water in between meals

No, that's not healthy, you're only eating 3 meals a day, and diet coke isn't healthy in any way!. Your diet lacks in sufficient protein!. You also need at least 5-6 small meals a day to speed up your metabolism!.

Diet coke isn't healthy, although it has 0 calories it is laden with various chemicals!. Fat loss is not so simple as the amount of calories consumed and the amount of calories lost!.

You want sufficient protein at each meal, around 20 grams per meal, to sustain muscle mass!. You want to lose fat, not muscle, that is how you achieve a well-defined, toned look!.

Your diet must come from clean foods, low in calories!. It must be high in protein and low in fat and carbs!. However, you have no carbs in there, you should have a source of healthy carbohydrates in the morning for some energy!.

It still has to be low, so fat is depleted quickly!. Carbohydrates are the first source depleted, fats are second, therefore, if carbs are low, it will be much easier to burn off fat!.

Here's a much better diet for you:

Breakfast:
Instant oatmeal, 1 egg, Glass of orange juice with pulp
Snack:
Apple with 2 tablespoons of all natural peanut butter
Lunch:
Salad topped with lean meat, poultry, or seafood
Snack:
Lean Chicken
Dinner:
Poultry/Steamed Veggies
Snack:
Cottage Cheese/Fat-Free Yogurt

By the way, don't depend on the food pyramid, it was used as a marketing strategy; it isn't efficient at all!.

You should cut down on carbonated beverages such as diet coke because it decreases the calcium you have in your bones!. Try drinking fruit juices, milk, smoothies or shakes instead of just soda and increase your protein intake!. And your meals should consist of more than just salad!.

For ex!. Breakfast: cereal, toast&jam and orange juice,

Lunch: chicken salad & water or juice

Dinner: Potatoes, brocolli, and maybe fish,steak or chicken with a diet coke!. Water in b/w is good!.

You need to throw in some healthy carbs in fats in there!.!.

You also need to get some vitamins there!.!. I'd recommend having some oatmeal and orange juice for breakfast!.!.!. They have 'weight control' oatmeal which has splenda in it to sweeten it and protein!.!. actually tastes really good and is filling!.

Try egg whites & some soy sausages, morning star!.!. they are good, have protein & are good for you!.

Throw some tuna fish in there, if you mix it with some relish it tastes great straight up!.

Cottage cheese is good for you too, good protein, very low carb content!.

In between meals pack yourself something small, like some celery!.!.

Get some natural peanut butter in there, good fats!.!.

& Diet coke isn't great for you either, but I guess if you need to drink soda that's the way to go!.!. You're brain might now agree with you later on in life though!.

Just try not to mix high fatty foods with raw carbohydrates!.!.!. and steer clear of carbs at night!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's better than a lot of things you could be eating, but why make life so boring!? Plus, eating the same thing will eventually put yourself on a plateau and no matter how hard you work at it, you'll stay the same weight (these are so hard to break)!. I used to drink tons of diet coke, but now I can't remember the last soda I had!. Instead I drink Diet Green Tea with berry flavoring and water!. When you stray from soda for long enough, you won't miss it!.

My main concern with your diet is the lack of protein and carbohydrates!. Try breakfast foods like whole wheat tortilla with scrambled eggs and salsa!. Blue Bunny makes WONDERFUL sugar free yogurt that is only 50 calories a cup (big cup)!. At lunch I often eat a lean cuisine or a smart ones frozen meal!. They are low in calories, and you get satisfaction from eating a decent meal! (if you are pressed for time like I am, these frozen meals are a God send)!. For dinner, eat chicken, turkey, or fish!. Add some vegetables on the side and you can have a great meal! What has really helped me is running every other day!. I hated it at first but now I look forward to it!.

What's with all the diet coke!? They're full of sodium and artificial sweeteners!. Sodium triggers massive water retention and spikes bloodpressure, and sweeteners trigger hunger and (many argue) fat storage!.

-Cut the damned diet coke! It's worse than the real thing!.
-Eat a LOT more for breakfast!.
-Eat protein for dinner!.

And you're only at 3 meals a day!? You should eat at least 6 keeping in mind to stay at your caloric deficit goal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Umm!.!.!.not really good choices!. Diet coke=not healthy!. The aspertane in it is turned into a chemical imitating fermaldahyde!. Also, a side salad for breakfast!? Umm!.!.!.i dont think you will find that appetizing after day three!. Try water and fruit for breakfast, a salad for lunch, and a sandwich for dinner!.
