Whats a good excersice a teenager can do to lose weight?

i really need a good excercise that is good to do and you can see results quickly, thank you!

It really depends on what you like to do and your resources.

What do you like to do? Walking, running, tennis, aerobics classes, weight-lifting, swimming, treadmill, tai chi, yoga, karate, dancing, etc., are all great ways to get into shape.

If you don't have a gym or class you can go to, walking and running are always good options. You can also buy exercise videotapes or DVDs. The various dollar stores usually have them very cheap. Your library probably has some exercise tapes you can check out as well.

Whatever you decide on, you need to do it on a regular basis--at least 3 days a week.

From my own personal experience and those of friends, if you do yoga every day, you will lose weight. I lost 2 sizes in less than 2 months.

PS: When you exercise, you build muscle and lose fat. Muscle weighs more than fat, so you will look thinner than a person of the same weight who never works out.
