Question:

I'm planning to loose weight this summer and I am wondering about the aspect of exercise?

If I do too much can it jeoperdize my weight loss. How much is too much when the goal is to just to do that level of intense exercise until the weight is off and then starting up a regular light routine.
What about food, is it still okay to eat 1200cal if i'm exercizing for extended periods of time?

Do you also have some tips on how to keep it off. I generally make good choices in what I eat (the fridge is always stocked with lots of fruits and veggies), but I do have a bit of a problem with stress, which I noticed causes a lot of my problems with my body. Obviously my plan is to jump start everything by exercising a lot and loosing weight, but I don't want all that work to go to waist!


Answers:

It is possible to gain weight by exercising, but thats by putting on muscle mass which isnt really a bad thing. However if you use a low amount of weight and more reps you can build up endurance and have a more lean body instead of haveing bulky muscles. Now im no nutrisionist but you can't just lose weight from exercise alone, or atleast it wont be easy. It alwayse helps to eat healthy.
