There is really one potential dangerous side effect from eating too much protein-you might get fat!.
And yes-you might have more gas, but the same is true for people who eat a lot of veggies!. No biggie!.
Otherwise, no serious harmful cautions!. You have to make sure you are getting enough exercise to burn off some of the calories you are eating!. Simple math you know already, I'm sure!. Eat too much = gain fat weight!.

As for ketones, they are only produced in potentially harmful amounts when you consume 0 carbs 0 sugars 0!. I mean, not one single carrot stick!. Nothing nadda zip!. And when your body produces these ketones, it is because your body is trying to save your life!. Your brain runs on sugars!. All carbs end up as glucose!. I don't care what kind of carb you eat, it is all the same stuff within a short amount of time, really!. (putting it very oversimplified) So ketones help your brain get nourished so you don't bonk!. Which sometimes atheletes do!. Diabetics can get ketone problems too, because they have such a hard time absorbing carbs, so they have to pee on a stick regularly to make sure they aren't producing harmful levels of ketones!. If you have a lot of ketones floating around, it won't harm you unless you have that level for longer than a few days!. But every opinion is different!.

Many nutritionists and some doctors stick to the "food guide pyramid" and will caution you against your diet!. But they are just opinions!.

All you need to know is this: everything we know about eating more protein, or carbs, or all that mumbo jumbo is essentially a theory that has been changed over and over and over for the last century!.

I, personally, believe that a high protein, low carb diet is the healthiest and best way to go!. Early man was not making bread or pasta!. Early man did not have that option!. For some reason, recent man has decided that grains should be at the base of the pyramid, but it is a complete mistake, in my opinion!. On a high protein low carb diet your body will burn a higher ratio of body fat, than on a high carb diet, and can actually function properly when liver and muscle stores of energy have been depleted!. You rarely ever hit "the wall" -if you know the terminology!.

I eat a ton of veggies, and a little fruit, but I rarely ever eat sweets or bread or pasta!. I eat a lot of lean proteins!. But again, that is just my personal opinion!.

Well, you are still growing so the protein will be just great for that!. But, you are also very active so you need the energy from the carbs and the energy from fats to keep healthy!.

Too much protein without anything to balance it out can make your system highly acidic which can make you tire faster and be hard on the kidneys!.

Balance your meat with plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grain breads or pastas!. At your high rate of energy consumption you could also indulge in something sweet now and then, especially to give you a 'kick' before games (just don't let it become habit-forming)!.

Follow the food pyramid!. For active people, it still works the best!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Proteins are more difficult to digest, and in the process of digestion they give off certain toxic chemicals in your body called KETONES, as well as certain biological acids!.

Normally, these toxins and acids are filtered out of your system by your kidneys!.

IF you eat too much protein there will be too many toxins and acids in your system!. In that case you have what is called Ketoacidosis!. This problem is certainly damaging, and can be fatal!. Especially so, the kidneys may be damaged, and the damage may not heal, giving you kidney disease for the rest of your life!.

In ALL cases, you should check with your doctor!. Have him recommend a nutritionist, who can consult with you to acheive your goals ina healthy manner!.

to much of everything is bad!. 1!. your body can only process so much protein, the rest your flussing it down the toilet!. 2!. it's not good for your liver to take too much protein!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldn't worry about it man!. With all the exercise your getting in your gonna need a lot of protein!. 200 grams is nothing compared to what some lifters take in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is nothing wrong with that!. It's good you are getting your protien, just make sure you get your carbs to!. All that protien might make you fart lots thoughWww@Answer-Health@Com
