Whats a healthy lunch for a child trying to lose weight?!

Question:

Whats a healthy lunch for a child trying to lose weight?

my daughter is 5'2, 140 pounds, 12 years old. i need healthy, low fat lunches for her. any ideas? thank you so much.

Answers:

Apple sliced (lemon juice on it too keep from going brown)
Baby carrot sticks or broccoli plain or w/ small (fat-free)ranch dip
1/2 sandwich / whole wheat tuna sandwich or turkey and cheese (both fat free w/ fat free mayo)
1 dill pickle
Bottle of water or small bottle of lowfat milk.

That's an ideal type lunch. If you gave her a whole sandwich she won't be able to eat the healthy stuff. The apple will expand in her stomach and fill her up even if she doesn't eat the whole thing, the pickle will satisfy any junk food craving, the vegtables with ranch will make sure she gets her greens and the water or milk is healthier than juice or soda.
All is lowfat and low calories but still enough to fill her up and not make her gain more weight.
