How do I stop thinking about food so much? Or suppress my appetite?!

Question: How do I stop thinking about food so much!? Or suppress my appetite!?
I'm in my late 20's, I'm 5'5 and I'm 141 - is that over weight!?

Also, I've recently gained 10lbs in a year!. I don't have a lot of time during the day to work out, so exercise isn't in an option for me right now, but I'm trying to ways to change my daily routine so that I can!. My job has me at my desk sitting most of the day and I don't work in an area that's safe to go out for walks!.

I try to watch what I eat and make healthier choices, but when out with friends or eating late, it isn't that easy!. I'd love to lose these ten pounds!. I stop eating when I'm full, but it seems that I think about food ALL DAY! How can I stop thinking about food so much or suppress my diet so that when I do eat, it isn't as much!?

Try setting up a food schedule!. Remind yourself that the saturated fat and extra calories can make you gain some weight!. I think you being 141 pounds is perfect for your age!. You have to squeeze some excercise into your day!. If you do sports, then you get more active and lose more calories a day!. Just try fitting in going to a gym or something once a week!. Try not drinking loads of pop or alchohol, because that tends to add extra calories to your diet!. When you're thinking about food, cancel it out! Try thinking about what you're doing now, or what your plans are for the week are!. Or thinking about a loved one!. A food schedule is the best thing for you!. Try eating 2000 calories a day!. That's what a doctor suggests on a calorie basis!. Try to hold out snacks!. Diets don't work!. EVER so don't try it!. Diet Pop is more fattening for you than normal pop!. Even though it says "Diet" on the pop, it has more saturated fat in it!. And watch out for the unsaturated fat foods!. Snacks between meals make you less hungry at meals!. Try just eating Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner and keep a count on calories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can chew gum, freeze grapes and take them to work with you, drink more water always carry a bottle with you
I don't know what else you can doWww@Answer-Health@Com

it takes 10 minutes for you to realize when your full so eat slowly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same problem and i have no idea!.!.!. Chew gum to keep your mouth busy!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Two things that helped me!.!.!. One Is the christian diet!. This is sacrificing a meal or a couple snacks a day for God!. You feel more commited when you do it for God!.!.!.

This other diet sounded funny but really works! So when you eat do you hold the fork in your hand while chewing!? Well DON'T!!!! if the fork or spoon is in our hand (or with fast food the burger or fry container) you have the natural instinct to put food on the fork and put it in your mouth without really thinking about it!. If you put the ofrk down you have to chew swallow and pick it up again!. While the fork is down you dont have that natural motion to put food on it and put it in your mouth!. You think more closely whether or not your full!. And when your full and the fork is down you wont eat past that full point!.

The one thing I immediately think of is!.!.!.do not try to starve yourself to lose weight!. If you are constantly hungry your metabolism will only slow down and you will burn less calories!. You will also constantly be thinking about food and become obsessive!. Eat what you like but in small portions and exercise! Exercise will not only burn calories but make you feel better about yourself! If you eat and are satisfied, there will be no reason for your body to keep reminding you that it is hungry!. If your friends are all eating something you know you shouldn't, see if there are other options!. If not, eat a couple bites or a small serving!. And of course, the more active you are, the less you will be thinking about food!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
