The problem with white rice is that it digests extra fast and causes a spike in insulin if not eaten with protein, beans or other fiberous and low GI foods to slow the absorbing of the carbs!.
Brown rice digests slower and doesn't cause the same problems!.

It just doesn't have as many nutrients as other things!. It is like any processed item, like white bread!. It just wont fill you up, and doesn't have the nutrients!.
If you get those from other sources, then white bread and white rice are fine, just realize they wont fill you up because they have no real content to them!.
Rice in general will make you feel filled up, but you wont feel filled for very long (because it lacks starch)!.
Also, as far as complex carbs, it doesn't matter!. Your body desn't store those!. It was a theory back in the day!. Your body stores animal fat (or premade fats)!. Your fat receptors just wait for those!. Carbs and Calories from plants are premade fats, so your body doesn't store them nearly as well!. No its not bad if u dont eat it in huge quantities!.!.!.have like a cup of cooked rice per serving!.!.!.Bcoz its compacted carbs and we tend to eat lots of it withouting knowing that we had around 1000 kcal!.!.!.!.its not the quality but quantity that's bad!Www@Answer-Health@Com
