Would i be overworking with weights?!


Question: Would i be overworking with weights!?
It's recommended u do 3 exercises and a total of 6-9sets per muscle group but what if i do for back 3sets of dead lifts with 8 reps each 4sets of bent over rows with 8reps each and 6 sets of pull ups then i do my bicep workout with two types of curls 7sets total 8reps per set!.!.!.good workout!? or overworking cuz i can do this!.!.i feel it after which i think is a good thing and then next day i do chest and tricepsWww@Answer-Health@Com

That's not really overworking, but I think you're donig too many sets there, you're right about 6-9 sets, but you have more!. You have 3 sets of deadlifts, 4 sets of bent-rows, and 6 sets of pull ups, all for the back!.

That's 13 sets, I think you can reduce the amounts of sets you're doing, since you don't want to spend too much time working out!.

One of the things I've learned from Max-OT is that too much time working out reduces efficiency, you should aim for 30-40 minutes working out!.

Another thing, it's not necessary, but you can up the weight so that you can only do 4-6 repetitions, this will really give your muscles a workout!.

But, in response to the overall question, no, you're not overworking!.

I doubt that will do you any harm, mate!. The deadlifts are mainly working your butt and legs !.!.!. the bent rows are working your shoulders and biceps, the pull ups can target back, lats and biceps!.!.!.!. depending on the grip and stance!.

As for quantity!.!.!.!. I generally do 8 exercises per session (that's 4 exercises in each of 2 muscle groups)!. Except legs!.!.!.!. I just do 8 exercises for legs and calves and I hate legs day!.!.!. lol!. I complete them in a little over an hour!.!.!. in total about 290 reps per hour!.!.!. (12,10, 8, 6 reps in four sets per exercise)!. Anything longer than an hour gets too exhausting and I think means you haven't been working hard enough if you dont do at least that many reps an hour!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
