Losing boby mass instead of gaining?!

Question: Losing boby mass instead of gaining!?
I've been working out for 3 months now 6x a week!. But during the last 2 weeks when I started taking protein shakes I lost around 2 pounds!. I don't know it that muscle or fat!? I'm getting stronger, I can pick up more weights but I somehow don't gain anything!. I eat a lot of protein!. Well my goal isn't to gain much but get down to 6% body fat!. Is it muscle that I'm losig or fat!? During the first 2 months of training I was the same weight but now, when I'm using the shakes it got down!. I'm 6'2, 178lbs 8-9% bodyfat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
