What is your eating habits?!

Question: What is your eating habits!?
I am overweight (I have had 3 kids in 3 yrs) I thought i had "OK" eating habits and every time i hear about people eating healthy i wonder, what does your diet consist of!? My diet consists of things like, veggies(occasionally) fruits(occasionally) lower fat foods(mostly), but also I sometimes snack on chocolate buddy bars or splurge and have an ice cream cone!. I like to make tomatoe sandwiches and I like turkey bacon, cheese, eggs, bread stuff like that!.

So what i'm wondering is What does someone that is considered a healthy eater usually eat!?!? What do you snack on and when you do splurge do you notice a difference in your weight or how you feel the next day!?

I would really appreciate any information on how a normal (healthy) eater eats!.!.!.

Thank you,

I eat a lot of vegetables and healthy food!. When cooking I use vegetable oil, which is healthier than normal oil!. I don't use too much oil when cooking!. I cook my vegetables in a tasty way, adding sauces and stuff and stir-frying it on my wok, rather than boiling the veggies or eating the veggies raw!. (Which is less appetizing for me and less fun to eat, but I eat veggies raw in salads) Eating fish is good for your skin and health!. When eating meat, I buy it fresh and cut off any fat with a big knife, then I cook it!. I usually don't buy pre-cut and spiced meat because they usually don't cut off the fat for you!. I enjoy eating fruits and usually make my own home-made fruit smoothies to drink in the morning to energize myself with nutrition!. You can try different fruits and recipes or even combining fruits in the drinks!. =D Also, try not to add sugar in the smoothies!!! I never buy soda because it bloats my stomach and has lots of caffeine and sugar in it!. I rather stick to water!. (Water keeps your skin clear and hydrated!) My cousin went on a diet where she ran up and down her stairs each day for about 20-30 minutes and only drank water when thirsty!. (She didn't drink anything else like soda, coffee, etc!.) She ended up losing weight and now she's skinny! She also went out for morning jogs, I think!. I RARELY eat bacon or cheese, but there's no harm in eating them once in a while!. You shouldn't eat too much bacon though because it has a lot of fat in it!. White bread may make you feel bloated and stuff because it is full of carbs!.!. (ever hear some skinny people shouting, EW I don't eat carbs! !?) but there are good carbs too!. White bread contains bad carbs that can contribute to weight-gain!. Soda also contains bad carbs!. (Sometimes if I eat too much white bread I feel bloated!. :-O ) The good carbs come from wheat bread with whole grains & veggies that help your body get the vitamins plus minerals & fibers it needs!. So when you make your sandwiches, I suggest using wheat bread (even though it doesn't taste as good)!. Also, try to buy whole-grain items when buying your "bread stuff" and cereal, etc!. I don't eat out or eat fast food often (unless it's subway or a place I know is healthy!) because I don't know what they put in the food I order!. But if you are eating out, choose a healthy place and don't order fat-enriched fast food!. In my opinion, it's better to make your own lunch/breakfast/dinner!. (You can make your food more healthy and you know what's in it!) If you are eating chocolate or ice cream cones, eat them once in a while to treat yourself!. When get cravings, I usually eat a little bit of my craving slowly (example: chocolate) to make the flavor last longer and end the craving quickly!. (chocolate releases these hormones that make you happy~) If I eat my craving too quickly, I don't taste it and I end up wanting more!. I don't try to refuse my cravings because then I end up eating a big amount of something else in replacement for my craving!. I remembered once that I ate too much of this junk food, and I felt horrible and regretted eating so much of the junk food!. Eating too much junk food can give me this lazy sluggish feeling, so I try to cut down!. When you notice your weight is a bit higher the next day, it's usually because you're still holding the food in your body you ate the other day!. If you want to prevent feeling bloated, I suggest you drink a lot of water and eat a lot of green vegetables to help your body digest food faster!. When buying snacks, I buy healthy but tasty ones!. (Such as whole wheat RiTZ flavored crackers!?) Also, I always read the Nutrition Facts section of things I buy to make sure they aren't full of sugar, fat, or sodium, etc!. They say yellow boosts your appetite && blue suppresses it!. So if you're on a diet, try eating your food on a blue plate/table or try drinking something blue or watch something blue!.This can guarantee that you don't overeat!. Also, eat slowly to help digest!. Be aware of the portions you're eating too!. I hope this helps!! Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would suggest cutting cheese and eggs out of your diet as they are high in fat and more importantly, they are high in saturated fats!. I would also suggest using wheat break and trying to reduce the amount of chocolate or ice cream from your diet!. More importantly, try to avoid those sweets before bed time!.

I eat fish, pasta, cheese and bean burritos, not much on sweets, not much red meat!. Beans are real good for you, an article I read said they are the perfect food with protein and roughage (first time I ever used their spell checker!)!.!.!.Maybe if you could do some exercise, just walking a few miles a day burns thousands of calories over time!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

My eating habits are none of your business so stop being nosey and mind your own business!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I actually know someone who lost a lot of weight on this diet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First off, you're doing okay for the most part!.

Things you need to cut out :

Mayonnaise
Buddy bars (this is processed crap and fat/sugar!.!.!.dont eat it)
Ice cream (try switching to sherbet or something less fattening)
Egg yolks (you can buy Egg Beaters or just separate yourself)
If you eat bacon squeeze ALL grease out with a napkin or two
Get bread that is high in fiber (I use Natures Own White Wheat)

You need to break your meals up into 6 meals a day!. Try to stick to these meals being around 200-300 calories each!. ALWAYS eat breakfast and if you want a bigger meal in the day MAKE IT BREAKFAST! If you eat frequently in small amounts YOU WONT EVER GET REALLY HUNGRY AND WANT TO SPLURGE!. Your stomach will shrink by itself!. If you want to snack on something eat a grapefruit or something!.

You need to also exercise!. Cardio 5-7 times a week at 30 minute - 1 hour sessions!. If you aren't sweating you aren't working hard enough! Also do weightlifting every other day!.

Seriously, the pounds will melt off and you'll build muscle and feel completely better and energetic! Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I never eat artificial sweeteners or low fat foods!. Very little bread, and when I do, like on a sandwich, just use 1 piece of bread!. You won't miss it, I promise!. Don't eat a lot of potatoes or corn, just don't really care for those starchy vegetables much!. I do eat a lot of sweet potatoes, onions, cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, broccoli, and peppers!. Use healthy fats such as olive oil or coconut oil to cook with instead of vegetable oil!. Also, I use real butter and not margarine!. Just use less, cause you don't need as much!. Try to stick with foods as close to their original form as possible, avoid boxed foods as much as you can!. But if you do buy boxed food, check for high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated anything on the label!. Those are unnatural and will set you up for serious health problems!. Virtually all soft drinks have them, btw!. Even foods you would think are healthy!. So you always have to check the label!. Also, when my husband and I get takeout, we share and I give myself slightly less than half, because you really don't need much food, we just eat it cause it's there and we feel bad for leaving it!. If it's not there, you don't miss it!. Eat lots of fish and cage-free eggs!. Also, I drink alot of green tea, about 3 cups a day, and usually squeeze some fresh lemon juice in there!. Really good!. Try to fit in some yoga everyday, and about 20 minutes of something that makes you sweat/elevates your heart rate, even if it's just dancing around the house!. I know this is random stuff, sorry about that!. Just make small changes, and you see them add up and snowball into huge changes, trust me on that one!. Don't try to do everything at once, just take it one day at a time!. Hope this helps in some way!.

Firstly, you cant put on noticable wieght from one icecream cone!. Calm down!. I have been slim all my life I think from being raised on a vegetable farm!. Its true what they say!. Its all about fruit and veggies!. Alot of them!. Even stupid radical diets count them as zero points!.
Fill up on the fruit and veg!!
You should be trying for half your food to be fruit or veg then a quarter protien and aquarter carbs!. Although at breaky more carbs is good to stop so much snacking through out the day!.
Low fat food is bad!. The actual saturated fat content is lower thats true but the sugar and chemicals are alot higher!.
Hope this helps!.
When I snack it's usualy something like fruit, toast or cup-o-soups (which rule by the way- tasty, filling and almost no calories)
Drink water!. Lots of it!. Soda is the devil!.
Hope this helps!. xoxoWww@Answer-Health@Com
