Actually, whey protein is just milk proteins!. Usually whey proteins are produced as a by-product of cheese production!. Whey protein is valuable as a dietary supplement because it is an easily absorbed complete protein!. If you are trying to gain muscle mass the amount of protein that you will need is actually quite small and any good diet will contain more than enough protein for the purpose!. Gaining muscle mass is extremely difficult and it will take you years to do it, please be patient!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Whey protein is not a get big quick fix!. It is protein!. The same protein that is in milk!. It does the same job as the protein in meat!. The main reason for taking it after training is because it is easily and quickly digested!. In my opinion you should not be mixing it with milk after training as the majority of protein in milk is casein which is a slow digesting protein and thus may defy the logic of taking the whey in the first place!.

If you arent growing you may need to start taking more protein each day eg add in a extra meal somewhere!. Or you might just need to change your routine up a bit to encourage new growth Or you are not working as hard/smart as you think you are!.

EDIT: The ideal things to put in your shake- as much whey as you feel the need for (25-50g), Dextrose and maltodextrin!.
The sugars are individual as to how much you want to put in!.

This can be handy for figuring out amounts!. Although you only need to put in what you want/have http://www!.abcbodybuilding!.com/pwcalcula!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you gotta have a good diet the whole day, plus i would only take it after the workout with a fast carb, like cream of rice!. you can only absorb so much protein in a certain time so spread it out over the whole day!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
