Um I've decided to stop being a vegetarian?!

Question: Um I've decided to stop being a vegetarian!?
I started by eating fish yesterday and my stomach felt fine!. I had been a lacto-ovo (cutting dairy out periodically) vegetarian for about a year and a half and I'm 17!. is it safe for me to eat a cheeseburger tonight or should I take it more slowly!? I've heard you're supposed to start with poultry, fish, etc and wait longer for red meat!. idk anyone with personal experience like this!? will I puke if I eat a burger!?

i was a vegetarian for five years and worked around meat during that time and then one day (because i was pregnant) found myself wolfing (yes wolfing) down a triple cheeseburger and didn't have any stomach problems from the sudden change in dietWww@Answer-Health@Com

You will definitely be ill if you eat something as gross as a burger after a year of no meat!.

I am worried about you actually!. You seem to be craving iron (meat, fish) and that may mean that you have not been getting enough of that in your veg diet!. This is a very common and dangerous mistake that new vegos often make!.

Have yourself tested!. It is very important for girls your age to have enough iron or your bone density and menstrual cycle can be screwed up forever!.

Please get a test asap!. And if you take supplements and adjust your diet to include lots or iron rich veggies like spinach, served with a vitamin C rich veg like tomato or with a dairy product your body can very efficiently take in the iron you need daily!.

Get some medical and nutritional advice soon please!. And even if you go back to meat PLEASE don't eat cr***ppy meat like burgers!.

Your body is a temple!. Don't desecrate it!.

You will most likely get sick from it!. I cut out just red meat and had a burger once and it made me sick!. Also a vegetarian friend of mine did the same thing and she also became ill!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Actually, I doubt you'll have any problems with a burger!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
