I'm going to a barbecue...?!


Question: I'm going to a barbecue!.!.!.!?
and I want to know what the healthiest things to eat there are!. (its all barbecue, picknick kind of food)
and what are some things I should stay away from!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can eat anything at a BBQ, just watch your portions!. Burgers are okay, just eat one and don't add mayo or other fatty stuff!. Do put sliced tomato on burger!. Choose a whole wheat bun if available!. Chicken breast is good!. Minimize or skip ribs, sausage and hot dogs!.

Corn on the cob is great, just use a little butter and pepper instead of salt!. Skip the potato, macaroni and other mayo based salads!. Salad is good, use just a tsp or so of dressing!. If there is cut up fruit and veggies, load up on those but don't take any dip!. Don't eat potato chips!.

If ice cream is offered, take a small portion (one scoop) and top with fruit!. Don't eat pie, cookies, cake or just take a half serving of one, not all!.

If they have chicken breast, go for that!. If not, dark meat is ok, as long as you pull the skin off!. Look for salad, especially ones without creamy mayo dressings!.!.look for green salads, fruit salad, etc!. You could even make yourself a salad, and top it with that skinless chicken!.

Maybe you'll get lucky, and someone will make turkey burgers!. If they're beef burgers, and look greasy (lots of flare-ups while they cook is a good sign), then they aren't made from lean ground beef!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are best to bring food with you!. Barbecue food is loaded with calories!. An average plate with a burger, piece of chicken, potato salad and maybe baked beans is often over 1100 calories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

try to stay active at the bbq bring a Frisbee or football think good fats bad fats stay away from chips n dips eat chicken if you have a hamburger put tomato on it, its a natural fat burner go easy on the condiments Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depends on your culture what barbecue food is!. I would suggest if the host is vietnamese you check the missing pooch ads in your neighborhood before eating anything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
