Question: Is diet soda worse for you than regular!? It seems 0 calories (diet) is better!.!?
Answers:
Diet soda is commonly known as the "healthy" variation of pop, and most people will drink diet soda frequently to help "curb" their sugar craving, thinking that diet soda, in no way, is negatively impacting them!.
However, not only does diet soda - or any soda, in general - affect your teeth, most of the "popular" diet sodas have large quantities of aspartame, have been speculated [there are groups that say they have proven it, and others that disagree; it is kind of up to you to decide who to believe] that aspartame has a correlation with headaches, brain tumors, brain lesions, and lymphoma; there was also a discovery [which is disputed still] that aspartame directly affected rats and gave them cancer!.
Take everything in moderation is my advice!. If you enjoy diet pops, and it helps you curb your appetite [though, pops like coke zero appear to actually induce "sugar cravings" in people, so I'd avoid them] then continue drinking them, but reduce the amount of drink!. Two per day, if not one, is recommended; with time, you should eventually switch to water, but that is purely your own choice!.
Another alternative would be to look for diet pops that don't have aspartame, but the lesser used sucralose [splenda] which is the better choice over aspartame!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
