Protein, healthy carbs, vegetables/fruit!. A turkey sandwich on whole wheat bread with a little mustard, raw veggies with a dressing they like, fresh fruit like an apple or orange!. If they must have chips make them whole grain sun chips or baked potato chips!. Just don't put a banana in their like my mom did the first three years of grade school!. It flavors everything in the lunch box banana!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yogurt, (low fat, flavored) its low GI so it gives you energy enabling sustained concentration (good for teens)!. Flavored rice crackers - low fat and good for you plus a great alternative to chips!. Fruit and carrot or celery sticks with a humus dip!?!? also healthy!. :) Www@Answer-Health@Com
Apple slices (prepackaged so they don't brown) or other fruit!. Try to balance the food groups - a protein,a carb, fruit, milk!. Maybe a salad!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
