OK, time to lose weight!?!

Question: OK, time to lose weight!!?
I'm overweight (ugh, I hate admitting it to people that can't see me) and I want to lose weight!. I haven't exercised for a while, and I want to start slow!. Will the following changes help me get started on losing weight!?

Walking half an hour every day
Reducing red meat intake to three times a week
Eating lots of fruits and vegetables
Forcing myself to drink more water everyday
Trying (that's all I can promise) to cut back on energy drinks and Mocha Frappuccinos

This is just to start, because I know that if I try to change lots of stuff all at once I'll probably give up!. Please don't be mean, I recognize that I'm not healthy and just want some advice and also if anyone has actually made a lifestyle change and lost weight by doing so, can you give me any secrets!? Thank you in advance!.

Actually, you've got it down!. The only thing I would really recommend is that you try to work up to an hour walk at least 5 days a week!. The first 20 minutes of physical activity, with your heart rate at 45% to 60% of your resting heart rate, is glucose-burning activity!. If you go longer than 20 minutes, then your body has used up the glucose in your blood and begins to use stored fat for fuel during the exercise!. Another secret I know is that you can get a special order mocha with fat free milk and no whip, and it probably cuts out about 200 calories!. I now get a regular coffee and sprinkle the vanilla powder in it, two splendas and one raw sugar!. And I have found that it is a good replacement to my old habit of getting a caramel frappuccino!. lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

YES!! that is a big step in the right direction!. also, try to eat 6-8 times a day, small meals and small snacks and make sure you eat breakfast, those two things in combination will get your metabolism rolling!! Also cut back on your fat intake, use lite mayo or spreads, lite margarine and you can get I can't believe it's not butter spray (or becel spray) it has zero fat!. sounds like your on the right track, best of luck to you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your plan sounds excellent!. The energy drinks and frappucinos are just piling the extra calories on though, so a good idea to try and go without them - remember what you put into your body needs to be burned off, or else it just gets stored!.

I saw this product called Acai Berry on Oprah the other week!.!. Looked like all the other diet scams, but I went for it and ordered a 14-day free trial from this site!.!. And guess what, it really works!! I'm so happy I've already lost weight, gotten more energy and my stomach is flatter than ever!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Personally, I don't think it will work at all!. If your really interested go to your local gym and maybe hire a personal trainer or something of the sort!. Than start doing your research for good two or three meals per day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

cut out as much proccessed food as possible as well!. dont force yourself to drink water but make sure you drink at least 8 glasses maybe drink herbal tea as well!. the rest sounds good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm sure it will!. I just recently started back exercising and I walk 30-45 minutes depending on my mood and drink a lot of water and have lost a couple inches already!. Every time I thought I would give it all up at once, I have failed and so far this is working for me!. After all, they say "Rome wasn't built in a day"!. It's very hard to stay disciplined so don't worry if have a mocha or two, just keep on moving!. By the way, I have found that although keeping a diet and exercise journal is tedious, it is very helpful because I don't eat half as much as I use to!. Writing it all down forces me to realize just how much I ate in a day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
