Yoga or pilates? what do they do?!


Question: Yoga or pilates!? what do they do!?
I have a tight back and want to loosen my back up, along with the rest of my body (I'm pretty tight all around)!. Would Yoga or Pilates be good for this, or is there another workout that is!? What do Yoga and Pilates work!? Thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pilates is generally less intense than yoga!. The Pilates method is a series of non-impact exercises to develop strength, flexibility, balance, and inner awareness!. Yoga would be better to start with, you can always switch to Pilates once your body is less tense!. Start with Iyengar yoga!. Both work the core pretty well!. Yoga focuses a bit more on flexability and strength, while Pilates is a bit more active/quicker paced at times!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
