Does eating fast or slow?!


Question: Does eating fast or slow!?
Affect the way you metabolize your food!? I usually eat pretty fast, & i'd like to know, if im trying 2 loose weight, does the speed at which i consume my food make a difference in any way!? Thanks in advance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It does not affect the way you metabolize food!. Food metabolization has to do with a completely different system!. To lose weight you should eat slower!. It takes a while for the chemical signals to get sent from your stomach to your brain signaling that you're full!. Thus, the slower you eat, the less you eat, the less you over eat!. No, it doesn't directly affect the way you metabolize your food!. 500 calories is 500 calories whether you eat it in 10 minutes or 30 minutes!. However, you are more likey to consume more calories when you eat faster!. Your body takes about 20 minutes to signal to the brain that you are full!. Eating quickly may cause you to overeat only becuase you will not be able to tell if you are full!. The best thing to do is to eat slowly and enjoy your food!. Put your fork down between bites or take a few sips of cold water!. And try not to be distracted while you eat!. It is best to avoid watching tv or reading while you eat because you may become distracted and start eating mindlessly!.

no it doesnt affect metabolism but you could try chewing a mouthful about 32 times as it makes it easier for you stomach to digest :)
& also if you eat it slower you will get full sooner & you wont eat as much :P
so yeah if your trying to lose weight, eat slower rather than faster :D

If you are eating the same amount, it won't affect how fast it's metabolized, but you will notice that you feel fuller on less food if you take your time eating!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

it doesnt do anything to your metabolism, but if you eat slower you will feel fuller and eat less, so you'll ending up losing weight eventuallyWww@Answer-Health@Com

I think the slower you eat the fastest you get full!. You tend to eat less when you slow down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
