Will my body get used to my running/working out and I'll stop getting result!

Question: Will my body get used to my running/working out and I'll stop getting results!?
Hi everyone!. I've come a very long way with cardio!. It's gotten to the point where the only type of cardio I can do is fast running because my body won't break a sweat with anything else!. I'm perfectly okay with some good, hardcore runs, but I'm trying to lose 5 more pounds and I worry that my body will "get used" to me running and I'll stop getting results!. Do you think that's the case!? I know you're supposed to increase your level of exercise!.!.!.but I hit it just about as hard as I can!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First off, good for you for taking care of yourself!. Yes, your body does get accustomed to your workouts which is why you need to switch it up, do something different besides the running, such as swim or lift weights ( light with a lot of reps to tone and not bulk)!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

When the same routine is used often ( over the space of around a month) the body will " grow used to" certain things!. The best way of compensation is to so called trick your body into breaking this routine!. A cross trainer is a very good alternative as it works upper and lower body and is zero impact!.
Try mixing your workouts and the weight should drop off!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try running up an incline on the treadmill or up a hill!.

And you could try HIIT, thats really effective for weight loss!.

For example, sprinting 100m, jogging 100m, the walking 100m, then sprinting 100m ect!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
