I can't get myself to throw up?!


Question: I can't get myself to throw up!?
First off, no lectures please, i know its wrong!. but i am trying to lose weight by dieting, and if i mess up just once, i start gaining back!. i would like to be able to have a way to fix my mistakes when i cheat on my diet!. However, i have lost my gag reflex!. (I'll give ya one guess as to how lol) is there any other quick/easy way to do it!? even when i did start to gag, barely anything came up!. Btw, i AM overweight, i weigh 208 lbs, so i am getting desperate!. i cant stick to a diet, and i cant find time to exercise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Thick is better than bulimic BUT before you decide to up your lunch make sure you drink lots of fluids, like clear carbonated beverages or apple juice (or some mixed drinks), it'll keep everything moving!. Drink another glass of water right before you head to the bathroom!. Stay away from milk or orange juice when inducing vomiting!. Remember that dairy and starchy foods are the worse things you could ever upchuck!. As far as your gag reflex is concerned I couldn't help you with that, I gag every time I brush my teeth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Good!. It's great that you can't throw up because you can tear the lining of your esophagus, cause a hole and then you're really screwed!. Also, you wear off the enamel on your teeth and your teeth will look gross and fall out eventually!. You have to find time to exercise!.!.!.look into Tony Horton's 10 minute workouts!.!.!.you can find the time!. You can stick to eating well, not a diet!. If you say you can't all the time, then you can't lose weight either!. Eat oatmeal and wheat toast for breakfast, salad, fruit or a wheat sandwich for lunch and brown rice, baked chicken or fish and steamed broccoli for dinner!. Eat popcorn for a snack and sugar free pudding cups for desserts or pure fruit bars!. YOU CAN DO IT if you REALLY want it!. All I hear from you is "I can't", so change your thinking to "I can"!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I can't help you on the throwing up problem, but if you really want to lose weight, one good way is to drink diet coke!. It isn't a good idea to eliminate all sweets since you will overindulge on a sudden impulse, so try to eat things that are reduced fat or calories (like coke zero tastes exactly the same)!. Also try eating healthier (more fruits and veggies)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

first of all, you don't lose weight by throwing up!. you cna get a body wrap instead!.!. they may be expensive, i'm not sure, but i heard that if you go to a good one they're really good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You won't lose weight by throwing up!. You'll keep a steady weight!.

You need to make a LIFESTYLE CHANGE!.

You have time to sit on the computer; so you absolutely have time to exercise!.!. you're just making excuses!.
Nothing about your body is going to change if you do not put any effort in!.

Even walking to start of with!.
Swimming!.
Cycling!.
Tennis!.
Jogging!.
Golf!.
Etc etc etc!.

CHANGE YOUR DIET!. I don't mean go on a stupid diet you read in a magazine!. I mean make a real lifestyle change!.

Eat lean meats; Chicken (and other poultry) and different types of fish!.
Cut down on carbs (white bread, fries etc) but DO NOT cut them out completely as this can kill you!.
Turn to wholemeal bread/rice/pasta!.
Eat more salads!. And veg!.
Fruit - Banana's, strawberries, raisins, pineapple, kiwi's,
Drink smoothies!.
Etc etc etc!.
-If you're addicted to pizza - make your own!.
Pitta breads+tomatoes+grated cheese+grill = health(ier)!.
-If you're addicted to potato chips - buy low fat, low salt, low calorie baked ones!.
-If you're addicted to candy - try dried fruit!. Dried pineapple is amazing!.
-If you love wraps - make your own! - wrap+lean chicken+tomato based dip+lettuce = amazing (and low calorie)!.


As i said - if you don't put the effort in!. NOTHING is going to change and you will stay at 200+ pounds!.
I recommend seeing a doctor / nutritionist / personal trainer!.
If you're actually serious about doing this, and not lazy!.

Edit: you say you can't get out much!. Why not take the kids with you!? Take them for a walk in the country, or in the park!. Take them to feed the fish/ducks!.Just walk anywhere!. They will appreciate it!. I promise you!. I have so many memories of being out and about with my mom when i was a child!.

Or buy an exercise DVD to do in your home!.
Buy a mini trampoline!.
Buy small weights!.
These aren't expensive!.

Also!. If you're a mother - what the hell are you doing even THINKING about making yourself sick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, throwing up isn't going to help!. (I won't give you a lecture!.!.!.but we both know that IT IS WRONG!!!) And it doesn't work!. You need to eat a balanced diet and MAKE time to work out! If you want it bad enough than you will find time to do this!. Even if its little things like walking to school/work/the store/the dog!.!.!.whatever! Its really not impossible to squeeze in 30 min!. of mild to moderate exercise into your daily routine!. This may mean making some sacrifices like waking up a little earlier to get in a quick workout (you don't have to go to the gym, just walk outside or buy an exercise dvd!.!.!.anything to get you moving!) As for the "I can't stick to a diet" this is what I suggest: don't go on a "diet"! Gradually make changes like eating more fruits and vegetables!.!.!.easy on the sweets (you can have a little maybe like once a week)!.!.!.eat whole grains, eat natural foods (no artificial sweetners or alot o preservatives!. Eat 5 small meals a day if you can!. Again, don't eat alot of sugar because this will make your blood sugar spike and thus will slow down you metabolism!. Don't restrict yourself too much but don't be too loose!. Find a balance!. This will take time!. Its the only healthy way to do this!. And your goal in losing weight should be health!.!.!.not just to look a certain way!

Throwing up is only a bad habit that will spiral out of control!. What you want to do is develop good habits for life so that you can keep the weight off!.

Remember that GOD created you and HE thinks you are beautiful!. Honestly, I'm not just saying this, beauty comes in all shapes and sizes!. Focus on being healthy inside and out!. Please don't throw up to lose weight!. I don't want you to screw yourself over!. YOU CAN DO THE RIGHT THING!!! It won't be easy but YOU have the power to make the right descision!
