Is it normal to lose this much weight?!

Question: Is it normal to lose this much weight!?
I'm 13 and I recently lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks!. Is that normal!? I wasn't exercising or eating healthy!. I haven't had much time to eat lunch since I started school so I normally eat like a BLT at 10:30 and do homework and hang out at lunch!. But doesn't not eating make you gain weight!? I'm still average weight but it's sort of weird for me to lose that much weight that quickWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
No, I don't believe that is a 'bad' thing!.

Some young women slim down naturally whereas others have trouble staying at a healthy weight!.

Yes, not eating can cause your body to feed off of other energy sources ergo gaining fat!. But it doesn't sound like that's what is happening in your case!. I think that your body is just changing into an even more womanly one!.

Losing 5 pounds at your age is totally normal!. As long as you keep busy and try to get at least 2 meals-if not three-in each day, you should stay on the right track!. :)

Good luck hun!. Stay natural!. <3Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's fine!. You are probably around that point in your life where you are growing at a pretty rapid pace!. You'll find that you will start eating a bit more than you use too also!. Don't skip any meals, eat three a day and healthy snack in between!. You should be fine!. Good luck in everything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes!. 2!.5lbs a week is healthy!. By not eating lunch you have cut that many calories!. If you did not want to lose it than you need to start eating lunch again!. Over time if you keep doing this when you actually start eating lunch again you will gain more than you lost!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are 'still' at an average weight, the change at being at school, no lunch etc!. may account for it, plus your age may have a factor in this!.

If it continues, I would be concerned then, not at this present time!.

Give it 2 to 3 more weeks!. Good luck at school!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
