What can I do to strengthen my abs without adding bulk?!


Question: What can I do to strengthen my abs without adding bulk!?
I am overweight & have a really bad back!. I want to strengthen my abs so my back is stronger but I don't to bulk up my already large stomach!. Please help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The only way to do this is to change your diet!. You probably have a bad back because you are overweight!.

Take little steps when changing your diet, don't rush into it!. And no I'm not talking about starving yourself by only eating once a day, that is the worst thing you can do, it will actually slow your metabolism by doing this!.

Try to increase your meal frequency by eating 5 smaller meals a day spaced out by about 3 hours!. Try to eliminate all sugar content, stuff like sodas, donuts, candy bars, etc!. Stuff that has a bunch of sugar!. Sugar is the number one reason why people get fat!.

Make sure you eat lots of veggies and drink at least 12 glasses of water a day!. Yes, you will be going to the bathroom a lot more but that's a good thing!. You will be flushing your body of all its toxins!.

Start there, once you've completed that step move on to trying to strengthen your abs!. You are never going to see your abs with a bunch of fat covering it!. Just by losing the extra pounds you will be relieving your back of the stress you put on it everyday!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I suggest endles sets of bicep curls and bench presses until you get the concave upper body with no legs, back or *** body you desire!. Like most of the morons in my gym!. The kinds of abs you want are a function of body fat!. Do lots of cardio, crunches and starve yourself!.

Now, if you actually want to get in shape -- bigger, stronger, faster, more explosive, better cardio, grappling specific fitness, etc!. -- we can help!. I'll give you a hint -- big pecs are low on the grappling fitness requirement list!. Strong abs are very important, but probably not the way you think!. On the other hand, lots of muscles you can't see in the mirror (hamstrings, lower and upper back) are extremely important!.

I use to be overweight and worked out, but nothing helped until I changed my diet!. That's what got me better results!.

Also, doing exercises like Pilates helps!.
