Question: I'm 4'11" 149 pounds!. I want to be 115!? How to do it the healthy way!?
Ok I work on my feet (in a kitchen) but only part time besides that I am sedentary!. I know I need exercise however my concern is how many calories to eat without slowing down my metabolism!. I ate about 1000 a day last week and lost 2 pounds but I'm not sure if this will have negative results in the future!. (Such as hitting a plateau from "starvation mode") I feel full because I am eating extra fiber, whole grains, fresh fruit and vegetables!. I am also taking extra calcium and multi vitamins any knowledable advice!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

To lose weight you need to eat, food is fuel like the gas you put in your car!. Your body needs that exercise to burn the calories which are only energy!. Instead of being sedentary, walk, jog, bike, do some at home exercises, dance or yoga class!. Exercise can be fun if you just find something you enjoy!.

When you eat only 1000 calories you don't have any energy left after work to get some exercise!. You've used up all your caloric energy and then you crash!. Use common sense when eating, which it sounds like you are, just not supplying your body with enough fuel to keep going!. Try a dance class or yoga class, they both build strong lean muscle and the more you have the faster you will burn the fat!. The dance will not only build muscle but give you your cardio and make muscles limber, limber muscles are healthy muscles that incur less injury!. never do starvation mode this will slow down ur metabolism!. what you want to do is increase your metabolism!. to do this you need put on some muscle i mean some not like body builders because muscles burns 60 calories an hour and fat only burns 5!. also eat healthy salads/fruits/rice/whole wheat and all you can do is LOT OF CARDIO! CARDIO IS KEY TO LOSING FAT like you have to a lot of cardio!!!!! also always be active don't sit aorund watching tv go play sports u enjoy or go for a bike ride! or walk to school instead of driving there!. if you do this for like a year you will lose significantly a lot of unwanted fat! i am 5'11 and i weight 155 but i look like im 180 because of my muscle mass and 149 is almost me so work on it hard! good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

I have my own personal rules to how I stay lean for 6 years now after I lost 43 bound!.

I know that it takes a long time to tone up a body that is lean and strong so I don't try to take any chances of thinking that loosing weight will be normal to achieve overnight!. With this philosophy in mind I tent to stay careful of what I do to my body physically and mentally!.

The message I am trying to convey here is that the hardest part about trying to loose weight is that people give up too soon too easily!. I believe that 100% of anyone trying to loose weight will loose alot of weight if they all just tried harder and longer to pull the "loosing" trigger!. The most guaranteed way to loose weight is to decide from the very bginning that you are into staying fit for the rest of your life!. The more you can suround yourself with a healthy vision the easier it will be for you to loose weight!. Rember do not doubt and try to loose weight!. It just wont work!. The motto is "Persistance"!.
