I have a dieting question.?!


Question: I have a dieting question!.!?
I was wondering!! If I were to diet and eat nothing at all but cheese, would that actually work!? This woman on TV said on her diet that she hadn't eaten anything in weeks and when she felt like she was about to pass out, she would eat a block of cheese!. Is that healthy!? Would it be safe for me to try!. I weigh 142 lbs!. and I am 5'3!. I don't need to lose very much weight!. Maybe 15 - 20 lbs!. If that isn't a good way, does anyone one have any suggestions!. Thanks

Nope, that could possibly one of the worst idea's i've ever heard to be honest!.

The best way is to do it the right way, that way it gets off and stays off!.

Just remember, NEW, thats how you loose weight, Nutrition, Exercise and Water

With your nutrition, you want to be eating around 5 small meals a day of between 250-300 calories, make sure they are good, healthy foods though, for protein you want to be eating chicken breast, tuna, salmon, shellfish and turkery, for carbs theres three different kinds, fibourous and starchy and simple!. Your simple ones are your basic sugars, like table sugar, milk sugar, fruit sugar and all that, try and keep these to a minimum, as they are absorbed relativly quickly, and produce and insulin spike perventing weight loss!. The two good kinds, starchy and fibourous, should be your main intake of carbs, try to eat more fibourous ones than starchy though!. This is because every calorie in starchy carbs are broken down and used, whereas fibourous carbs, some of the calories are unable to be broken down by the body!. Starchy carbs are things like bread, potatoes and rice, and fibourous carbs are all your vegetables!. Also, stay away from processed foods, like white flour, white bread and all that kinda junk, its not good!. For fats, limit your saturated fat intake to next to non, the kind of fats you want to be eating are mainly poly-unsaturated, these are things like flaxseed oil, extra virgin olive oil, and rice bran oil, try to stay away from the other fats!.

For exercise, try around 30 minutes of light cardio 4 days a week, then slowly build this is up to 45 minutes of moderate/intense cardio 7 days a week!. This raises metabolism and burns calories, you may want to suplement your cardio with some sort of weight training program, your choice!.

And finally, water drink around 10-15 cups of cold water a day, it will raise your metabolism and assist in fat burning!.

lol only need to lose 10 lbs! with your height! and honestly, i lost weight by eating less [no sugar, ice cream, bad stuff like that] and run on the treadmill an hour+ a day for a few months, and b4 i know it, i dropped weight so fast that i didn't even know i lost weight!.

so what's im trying to say is only eating a block of cheese is pretty bad! but depends on your age, too!. i guess, teenagers need all kinds of food [surely you knew that] and if you're older then you can do w/e u want :]Www@Answer-Health@Com

That is one of the most unhealthy things you could do!!

If you want to lose weight then you need to change your diet!. Eating less is not as effective as eating the right foods!. Reduce your carb intake (pasta, white bread, etc!.!.) and drink plenty of water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

NO THAT IS NOT HEALTHY, she suffered from malnutrition, there are very few micronutrients in cheese that's a dumb way to loose weight!. Go with a 1400 calorie diet loaded with veggies and protien!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What that lady did on TV is probably the stupidest thing you could possibly do to lose weight!. Why!? Because your body is very very smart!. Guess what she did by not eating!? She slowed her metabolism WAY DOWN!

She also depleted her body of the needed nutrients it needs to function properly!. Now her body is in starvation mode, so guess what's gonna happen when she crashes and starts eating again!? Her metabolism is going to stay slow burning and her body is going to store that food as body fat, so shes gonna gain all the weight she lost back and than some!

It all goes back to the stone age when our bodies didn't know when the next famine was gonna occur, so when we had a drought of food, our bodies would store body fat to last until food was available again!.

So you should never starve yourself! Try to eat 5 smaller meals a day, yes 5, because by eating every 3 hours you will raise your metabolism and burn more body fat!. Try to stay away from sugar, no sodas, candy bars, donuts, etc!. Sugar is the number one reason why people get fat!.

Drink at least 12 glasses of water a day to help flush all the toxins out of your body and eat lots of veggies!. Get on a exercise program, but start with your diet and please, you'll thank me later, don't starve yourself like that dumb lady!Www@Answer-Health@Com

nuh uh, dunt do it!!!! that is so unhealthy!. the woman is anarexic/starving!. cheese is high in fat so thats why she wud crave it, it is barelee keeping her alive, an as soon as she stops this diet she will be heavier than when she started!. if u want to lose 15-20 pounds, u need a couple, simple, permanant change to ur lifestyle!.
stop eating fast food and processed food!. it is so bad for u!. try becoming a vegetarian, the average amount of weight lost is 15 pounds, i lost 24!. just eat more vegetables and fruit, and less processed food ? Www@Answer-Health@Com

I STARTED WORKING OUT TO LOSE SOME LBS AND IM ON A "DIET" but its more like i eat 5-6 small meals tru out the day every 2-3 hrs!.!.!.

protein - fish and lean chicken have little littlee fat and alot of protein!.!.!. easy cheap one is tuna!.!.

carbs - DONT EAT carbs like bread rice pasta within 3 hrs of when your gonna sleep!.!.!.eat all those earlier!.!.!.

- EAT GREEEEN VEGETABLES!.!.!.!.!!!!!

- AND IF YOU CAN TRY GOING FOR A WALK OR RUN !.!.
