How Can I Improve My All-Around Health?!

Question: How Can I Improve My All-Around Health!?
I'm 16, 5'11" tall, and the last time I was weighed it was more around 250 lbs, and I really want to lose weight and just get healthier!.

I have trouble running in PE and JROTC!. When we had to run the mile, I had more than 11 minutes, and when we ran 2 miles in JROTC, I couldn't even finish in the time we were allowed!.

I get joked at for being too big, and I just laugh it off, but it really kind of hurts, and I want to be able to show people that I can do things and that I'm not just some fat loser!.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Well you can start by cutting out fried, fatty, sugary foods!. Try to eat more green things!! It helps flush your body!.!. such as salad, broccoli, cucumbers! When you get hungry for a snack instead of some pizza rolls or even pizza try veggies, or a fruit salad!.
If you have a hard time running then don't streign yourself, I would try walking for 15-30 minutes each day, about an hour before you do your walk eat something good!. Substitute white bread with wheat whenever you can & same with noodles, if you like pasta then try wheat pasta, it taste the same but is so much better for you!. Try cutting out sugary drinks & replace them with water or 100% juice!. Even sports drinks aren't that good for you, stick with juice!. It's sweet & GOOD for you!
I would just change the way you eat & start to walk on a daily basis!.!.!. when you feel more comfortable to run then start that routine!.

The only real advise I have is whatever it is you decide on doing STICK TO IT!! Everyone 'goes' on diet's, ends up cheeting, then never loose the weight they want to!. Don't go on a diet, change your diet!.!.!. don't deprive your body of the food you want, just cut back on how much of it you eat & incorporate (slowly if need be) healthy alternatives to some of the foods you love to eat!.
I wish you the best of luck!!!
