Hi,
I was in a similar situation - I had switched to cycling and had to get down to 80kg from 90kg (22lb loss)!. I wasn't fat either!.
Exercise:
I basically changed my whole training program - massively increased my cardio regime and reduced weights to 2 sessions a week!. I did at least 5 x 1hr cardio sessions a week (jogging and cycling)!. My weights sessions consisted of "low weight - high reps"!.
low weight - high reps assisted in "maintaining" strength but also building muscle endurance - which you will definitely need in MMA!.
Diet:
This was a little bit mathematical - I tried to best work out how many calories I was burning in a day (approx) and then tried my best to eat 500 calories less!.
To work out the number of calories you burn in a day you need to calculate you "Basal Metabolic Rate" and then add the calories burnt through excercise!.
BMR calculator: http://www!.bmi-calculator!.net/bmr-calcul!.!.!.
Hope this helps :)
PS: I am now 81kg and kicking *** on the bike!

I would suggest speaking with a personal trainer briefly!. If you don't belong to a gym, pick up the phone and ask to speak with one from a local spa/gym!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
