Its interesting that you are thin but are having a problem with your cholesterol, i would have your liver checked out as it sounds like there could be a problem there!. The reason for this is that cholesterol only goes within high limits if there is an overweight issue, unless the liver is involved!. I am no doctor but i think it worth checking out!. You could try taking some fish oil capsules (however if your liver is in bad shape this could elevate your cholesterol)!. Eggs are a really good source of good quality cholesterol too!. Eating a few almonds or walnuts is good too, avoid cashews though!. Also sunflower and pumpkin seeds are great!. Eat lean red meats, chicken, lots of oily fish such as salmon, trout etc!. Good oils, if you have salad drizzle it with good quality extra virgin olive oil!. For cooking, cook in rice bran oil, it lowers cholesterol and has a high boiling point!. Also eating soy products can lower your cholesterol (esp!. soy beans) and can be quite nutrient dense!. Avocados are also a great source of nutrients and good fats!. Remember not all cholesterol is bad, and nor is all saturated fats bad!. They are needed by the body in controlled amounts!. You can however eliminate all trans fatty acids!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Grains, preferably whole grains like whole wheat and brown rice!. (High in carbs and protein!.)

Fruits and starchy vegetables like corn, peas, and potatoes!. (High in carbs!.)

Skim milk, legumes, and lean meats like turkey or chicken breast, fish, or lean ham!. (High in protein!.)

Also consider eating nuts and avocados, which are high in fat, but not saturated or trans fat!.

If it still isn't working, you could replace water with fruit juice!. Fruit juice contains mostly empty sugar calories, but it's better than starvation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can have anything cooked with vegetable oil (has mainly mono- and polyunsaturated fats, these are the healthy fats)!. Use vegetable oil for frying and spread margarine on your bread!. You can also bake cakes with oil!.
Oily fish contains loads of heathy fatty acids as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
