Answers:
When you are older - 40's - your metabolism slows down and when you don't eat very much your body holds onto all the fat because it doesn't know when it will get it again!. You have the opposite problem!. You can't slow down your metabolism at your age - nor should you want to - it keeps your body and brain healthy!. Eat more and do exercises that build muscles because muscles weigh more than fat!. Some people just have a high metabolism naturally, god given!. Nothing you can do about it!. As you get older you'll be happy about it because you probably won't get middle age spread!. However, when you have a high metabolism you must feed it more often so you should be eating more than the normal person who does not have such a high metabolism!. Be happy!.!.!.you can probably eat anything you want and not have to worry about the weight!. Just make sure you also eat healthy for your heart!. Good luck !.!.!.you're lucky!Www@Answer-Health@Com

the easy, sure-fire way to slow your metabolism is to go on a crash diet because your body thinks its being starved so it uses less energy and starts storing every last drop of energy, which is why so many peoples diets fail and when they start eating normally again then end up gaining more weight than they lost because their metabolisms slowed down!.
but being that youre already underweight i dont think it would be very safe for you to try that because if your metabolisms higher than most peoples to start with it might not work the same and you could just end up dangerously underweight!. you could still try it but youd really need to be under medical supervision since its not very healthy, even for people who can afford to lose weight!.

oh n just wanted to point out i think the answer above mine is really good :DWww@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldn't suggest slowing your metabolism down unless you've been told to do so by a doctor!. And if they told you that, they would offer suggestions on how to do it in a healthy manner!.

Otherwise, I suggest eating more!. If your current diet is allowing you to maintain your weight, add about 300 calories a day to that!. If you are currently losing weight on what you're eating, add more than 300!. This will help you put on weight slowly and build up to a healthy weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
