I tried them once during my period to avoid excessive water weight!. IMHO, they didn't really do anything!. I have taken prescription strength diuretics before for different health issues!. They certainly make you lose water weight!. But just because Diurex didn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for you!. But let me just say that this over-the-counter type of diuretic is intended I think for temporary use!. Maybe like before your period or if you're feeling a little bloated for whatever reason!. I wouldn't recommend these for actual weight loss!. If taken extended diuretics begin to deplenish your body of necessary things you need which can lead to serious health problems!. If you're really trying to lose weight, why not try a diet pill or diet program that's actually intended to help with weight loss!. First I would try the old fashioned way!.!.!.good old calorie cutting and exercise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
