When I work out, do I need a day of rest?!


Question: When I work out, do I need a day of rest!?
I'm 15 years old and 5'6 in height!. I am currently taking weight training at school!. Will there be any growth problems or anything if I work out 5 times a week for about 45 minutes a day!? My coach never told us that we have to take a day of rest and I was wondering what would happen if I don't rest a day after a day of working out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, you should be fine if you always stretch remember to work out lower body 1 day and then upper body the next!. If you try to work out upper body 2 days again you will end up breaking down your muscle growth!. I'm a senior in HS and my team won state weight lifting 3 years in a row!. Don't ever try to bench if your shoulder is bothering you either!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't work on benchpresses so much as it might stunt your growth!. If you know you aren't going to grow any taller, then you can do it!. Also, if you are new to weight training, you will get sore very easily!. Once you outgrow that soreness is when the training will help you with your body physique!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
