Can anyone help me with "the splits"..?!?!?!


Question: Can anyone help me with "the splits"!.!.!?!!?!!?
Well, i'm 17, 6'8 and 207lbs, i play basketball and i thought it would be fun to be able to do the splits =)

So i've set myself a goal, i want to be able to do them by the end of the year!.

Only one problem, i have no idea where to start =D, if anyone can hook me up with any good websites with stretches i can do or videos that show me stretches i can do, i'd be really greatful!.

every day do this routine (about 15 minutes long)

1!. 50 starjumps (jumping jacks)- this is important because it loosens up your leg muscles

2!. do the butterfly stretch and hold down for 1 minute-http://z!.about!.com/d/running/1/5/F/-/-/-!.!.!.
it's like that except you have to touch your nose to your toes!.

3!. lunges- 1 minute on each leg

remember to press your crotch down really hard

4!. hold a la seconde splits for 1 minute

remember to go as far as you can with your legs out to the sides

5!. and finally practice the splits for 30 seconds on each leg!


and after a long time of practicing and doing this routine EVERY SINGLE DAY you'll might be able to over-extend like this:

Really the only thing you have to do is try and keep trying! haha start to go down into the splits keep going until it hurts and then just hold it there for as long as possible!.!.!. then try again! Or you could do a stretch machine!.!.!. which hurts!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well you just have to stretch and stretch each day til your legs can get wider!. Eventually you will be able to do it!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
