Question: Can I possibly lose more than 1!.5-2 lbs a week!?
Hello,

I am 5'2" and 130 lbs!. Yes, I know, I'm a fatazz!. My question is, if I could lose more than 2 lbs a week!. Usually, when I lose weight, unless it is water weight, I can't lose more than 2 lbs!. I would like to lose 3-4 lbs a week, not 2!. Please, experts, fitness trainers, nutritionists, lend me your advice!

Of course you can lose more than 2 pounds per week!.
1-2 pounds per week is recommended because any more than that you are going to be losing muscle not fat!.
When people lose weight they are typically trying to lose fat!.
When you lose muscle it is harder to lose weight, and you won't look as fit!.
The reason is because muscle burns calories even when you are not doing anything (like sleeping)!. Fat doesn't do much but just sit there!.
So, if you lose more than 2 pounds per week you are essentially slowing down your metabolism!. Thus, making it harder to lose the type of weight you want to lose!.
If you only care about the number on the scale, then by all means try to lose as much weight as you can!.
If you care more about what you see in the mirror, then I suggest sticking to 1-2 pounds per week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Unfortunately your goal should only be to lose 1 -2 pounds per week!. To lose any more weight in one week can only be accomplished in an unhealthy way such as not eating, or purging after eating!. By losing weight the unhealthy way it could lead to many health problems!.

So don't worry just work out daily, eat healthy & lose 1 -2 pounds a week so you stay healthy!.

Well I think it's totally about self-control:

Breakfast: integral toast and a 70-calorie yogurt

Lunch: Fruit (any kind, except banana) and a fish (not fried)

Snack if you get hungry: gum or 90-calorie diet bar

Dinner: Light soup (not a creamy soup, it has too much fat)
Or maybe a cup of special K or cheerios

Some other tips:
DON'T EVER DINNER AFTER 7PM, IT HAS BEEN PROVEN IN INVESTIGATIONS AND THAT HELPS A LOT, TRY TO DINNER BEFORE 7, I SWEAR IT'S AMAZING

I recommend you coffee in the morning, it gives you a lot of energy! (without sugar, or maybe splenda)

Another thing is to drink green tea twice a day, it burns fat and it's good for your health

And of course, do at least 50 abs per day

Sorry it isn't what you want to hear but it is not healthy for you to lose more than 1-2 pounds per week!. Especially if you are looking to keep it off!.

1-2 pounds is the healthy way to lose weight!. If you have a lot of rapid weight loss, it can leave you with other medical issues!. Like it could cause your hair to fall out, mess up your periods!.!.!.!.lots of things!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
