there is 2 ways the cable machine where you sit down and push back!. The free way is kinda of like a backwards sit up you stand on the little bench thing face down hang down and raise up you can use your body weight or weights!. check this out

I'm afraid the dreaded muffin top look is not caused by underdeveloped lower back muscles!. It is because you are starting to accumulate fat in that area!. I can assure you that working out the lower back will do nothing for your muffin top!.

While there's nothing wrong with wanting to work out the lower back (hyperextensions and planks are good exercises), what you really need is to lose fat!. You will do this through diet and exercise!.

You should be eating mostly clean healthy foods, with emphasis on fruits and vegetables!. Protein intake should be rather high, so should healthy fats (nuts, fish oil, avocados)!. Keep carb intake to an absolute minimum and generally try to consume carbs in the earlier half of the day!. Most people metabolize carbs poorly at night!.

Needless to say, you should be getting consistent exercise!. At least 4 to 5 times per week of jogging or whatever other cardio you like to do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

and keeping your hips on the ground, rase your legs as far as you can without your hips coming off the ground
