Pushups problem tell me your opinion?!


Question: Pushups problem tell me your opinion!?
2-3 months ago, i was able to do 60 pushups in 1 minute!.
i decided to attempt something new, which was to perform 1 more pushup than the amount yesterday starting from 30!.

The speed decreased substantially but it would build more endurance!.

yesterday was my 115th pushup mark and i decided to take a rest today and see how many i would do in 1 minute max speed!.

Unforunately, i ended up doing 56 pushups in 1 minute

would it be better to build the quantity of pushups or the speed!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to do both and add slow ones too!. The reason is you do only fast pushups, you'll gain speed and lose endurance!. If you only do quantity, you'll build endurance, but lose speed!.

Your muscles are getting used to your workouts, but if you do say 5 fast ones, then 5 real slow ones!. Then 5 pushups on your knees and then 5 on your toes, then some with your feet on a chair, your muscle have no way to get used to this so the only thing it will do is get stronger!.

Also, try doing your pushups every other day or two, this gives your muscles time to grow bigger or faster and be better prepared for next workout!.
It doesn't have to be 5, it could be 3 or 7, whatever you want, but try mixing it up like that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

build up the quality!
your body has probably become used to push ups now and wont advance any instrength!.
try a modified version of the push up that is more challanging:
superman push ups
hand stand push ups
decline push ups
one hand push ups
