How bad is it for your body to torture yourself during cardio?!

Question: How bad is it for your body to torture yourself during cardio!?
When I say torture I mean push yourself till your on the ground in agony then get up and keep going then your back on the ground but you keep going over and over!. Not lasting like a real long time, but like 20 minutes worth, mostly all out sprints, or with a jump rope!. I'm just wondering how bad is that for your body!? Cause that is how i like to exercise when it comes to cardio!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I highly doubt that it will have any negative effects on your body!. If you are "on the ground in agony" it would be a good idea to lower the intensity!. Cardio should definitely be high intensity, but what you're saying is really pushing it!.

Try HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)!? It's unbeatable in terms of fat-loss, and the only cardio that sustains muscle mass fully!. Basically, you do high intensity sprints, at about 70% effort (not 100%, which is what it seems like you are doing) for a minute or less!. Then you jog/walk for that same amount of time!. Then you repeat this cycle for about 15 minutes!.

its basically bringing u to the point where ur muscles are completely outta energy and ur picking urself up and doing it again ur using muscle as fuel just so u know at that point!.!.sprinting is diferent do HIIT for 20mins u slow in between not a straight all out sprint for 20mins!.!.but if u wanna i guess u just need to eat like right afterWww@Answer-Health@Com

It's bad in the sense you are teaching your body to fatigue at a certain point!. So it's more mental than physical!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
